Smart TV and WiFi provide modern convenience, while the setting encourages slower evenings, conversation and quiet retreat.The fully equipped kitchen is designed for effortless self-catering, whether preparing a relaxed breakfast overlooking the water or a candlelit dinner after a day exploring Perthshire. The loch is yours to enjoy throughout your stay.The lodge sits within a private Christmas tree estate and is not enclosed. Wildlife is part of the experience — deer and other animals are often seen nearby.Dogs are welcome between Feb and Oct only but must be kept on a lead at all times due to the open landscape and resident wildlife.Private gravel parking is available directly beside the lodge. Access is via a rural track, enhancing the secluded setting.Other things to noteThe Black House is a carefully maintained, high-end retreat. We kindly ask guests to treat the property and its surroundings with the same care and respect they would their own home.• The lodge is supplied by a private water source and is not connected to mains drinking water. Bottled drinking water is provided for your stay.• Dogs are welcome at certain times of year ( February through until end of September) but must be kept on a lead at all times due to the open estate and wildlife. Dogs are not permitted on beds or furniture and should not enter the bedrooms.• The property is set beside a private loch. The pontoon and surrounding areas can become slippery, particularly in wet or icy conditions. Please take care at all times.• Open water presents inherent risks. Guests are responsible for their own safety and for supervising children at all times near the loch.• The lodge is strictly non-smoking indoors.• Please respect the peaceful nature of the estate — no parties or events.The Black House is designed to offer privacy, tranquillity and understated luxury.
