Idyllic cabin in Hurdal

Welcome to this peaceful and charming cabin in Hurdal. This place is suitable for those who want a combination of active days, relaxing evenings and various offers by season. Hurdal ski resort is a short drive away and the area offers amazing nature, hiking trails and swimming areas by beautiful Hurdalsjøen.The cabin is also close to the airport, and is just as suitable for holidays as for business trips.Spar Hurdal (grocery store/supermarket) 6km towards Hurdal.Linen and towels are included.The spaceThe cabin consists of an open kitchen and living room solution, with dining area in the corner and lovely views from the sofa in the living room. The space offers a bathroom with a combustion toilet (user manual is hanging in the bathroom) and sink.(NO running water)If you need more wood for the fireplace, you will find it in the basement. (the key is on top of the refrigerator)It can be challenging to drive all the way up to the cabin in winter. If you do not want to drive up the hill, you can park down by the garbage cans (before the steep hill) and walk the last bit up. Recommend good shoes and headlamp if you arrive late.Guest accessThe entire cabin and the site outside can be used as you wish.Other things to noteNote that the cabin has NO running water. There is summer water available (in the tap outside the cabin on the left) from April to October. This is not suitable as drinking water. When you need water for cleaning, if you want to drink, this can be boiled. In winter snow can be melted in pots.It can be challenging to drive all the way up to the cabin in winter. If you do not want to drive up the hill, you can park down by the garbage cans (before the steep hill) and walk the last bit up. Recommend good shoes and headlamp if you arrive late. We recommend your own car/rental car to experience the best possible area. There is a bus stop at the main road, but the busses doesn’t go very often.
