Alpine cabin in Voje Valley

Welcome to the stunning Voje Valley, where our cabin, surrounded by untouched nature, offers the perfect spot for relaxation, hiking, and escaping the everyday hustle.Located at 704 meters above sea level, 5 kilometers from the village of Stara Fužina, it’s just a short walk to the waterfall of the river Mostnica, which flows through the picturesque Mostnica Gorge. Situated in the heart of Triglav National Park, it provides endless opportunities for nature exploration.The spaceThe cabin is ideal for families or small groups of hikers.On the ground floor you will find a kitchen with a dining area, a living room and a bathroom with a shower. On the upper floor there are two bedrooms, each one of them is equipped with a double bed and a single bed.Electric appliances are powered by solar panels with a battery, while the hot water boiler and the stove use natural gas from a cylinder. The rooms are heated by a wood-burning fireplace and electric infrared panels.There are two simple restaurants that offer warm local meals within 5 and 15 minutes’ walking distance.Other things to noteIMPORTANT INFORMATION:The access to the cabin is via a road that requires a pass to open the gate. The last 2000 meters of the road are gravel but easily drivable for regular cars.Upon arrival we will meet you in Stara Fužina to hand over the keys to the cabin and the road access pass. The pass is valid for one vehicle only; if you will be arriving with more than one vehicle, you can park free of charge in Stara Fužina and we will give you a lift to the cabin.There is limited infrastructure in Voje Valley which means that water, electricity and gas supplies are limited and require prudent consumption. Mobile network signal in the area is marginal so data transfer is slow and unreliable; calls and text messages work well. There is WiFi at the cabin.The nearest grocery store is 20 minutes drive away from the cabin. All the basics (salt, oil, bathroom essentials etc.) are provided at the cabin. Guest registration in Slovenia is mandatory by law, therefore we will need photos of all the guests’ IDs before arrival.
