Welcome to this light and airy hilltop house with a private jetty on Ekerö, less than an hour from central Stockholm. Enjoy panoramic views over Lake Mälaren, a sunset dip from the jetty, lounging on the balcony or in the garden surrounded by lush greenery, peaceful nature walks and family friendly beaches. And why not take a scenic boat ride to Stockholm city?The spaceTwo floor apartment (115 m²) with private entrance in a twin house (we, your hosts and our children, live on the other side) and private parking. The top floor features two bedrooms with lake views, one with a queen-size bed (160 cm) and a large workspace and one with a double bed (140 cm) and a small desk (sleeps 1–2). The middle floor includes a large open-plan living room, dining area and kitchen with basic equipment and complimentary coffee, tea and snacks, as well as a bathroom with shower and tub. You’ll also find a large, south-facing balcony furnished with a dining set and sun loungers.The basement floor has a washer and dryer accessible on request.You’ll have your own side of the garden with a furnished patio, plum tree, cherry trees and white currant and blackberry bushes (free to pick).The lakeside property with a jetty and a small beach for children is reached via a small path from the garden (150 m) and shared with your hosts only. Two SUP boards and life vests are available to use for free.Please be aware that you need to climb stairs to access the entrance and bedrooms.Guest accessYou have your own side of a twin house. The two top floors, balcony and garden are freely accessible. The washer and dryer on the basement floor are accessible on request.Arriving late? No problem. Just let us know and we can make arrangements for touchless check-in.Other things to noteGetting to Stockholm city from the property takes around 30 minutes by car and just under an hour with public transport. Public transport options include bus + boat or bus + subway (all covered by the same ticket). The nearest bus stop is less than five minutes from the house.
