Spend a summer day on the lake paddleboarding on a SUP board, or take the rowboat out and try your luck at fishing.The atmosphere of Villa Vanaja is modern, yet cozy and warm. Wood has been used in various forms in the interior design, and the details have been carefully thought out.The property includes a cozy cottage and a separate guesthouse, both situated right by the water. The cottage features a wood-heated sauna, perfect for relaxing year-round. Cool off on the terrace and swim from the pier or the gently sloping shoreline. In winter, an ice hole is kept open at the end of the pier.Inside the cottage, you’ll find an open-plan living and dining area with a kitchenette, a fireplace, and a large window overlooking the lake. In the kitchenette you’ll find a stove, a microwave, and other basic essentials for cooking. The water comes from a drilled well and has been tested as excellent drinking water. The air-source heat pump keeps the temperature of the cottage comfortably stable in both summer heat and winter cold.The terrace features an outdoor dining area where you can enjoy lake views, and a Weber gas grill is available for cooking.A small bathroom with a flush toilet is located between the living area and the sauna; the shower is in the sauna.The guesthouse offers a comfortable 180 cm wide double bed, a spacious walk-in closet, and a work desk with stunning lake views. Additional sleeping space for two extra guests is available on sofa beds in the cottage and the guesthouse.
