Blending minimalist Nordic–Japanese design with warm natural textures, the villa offers a serene riverside atmosphere shaped by water, light and the natural rhythm of its surroundings. Designed as an adults-only escape for two, the villa invites guests to slow down and reconnect with nature, water and each other.Large panoramic windows bring the landscape inside, filling the space with changing natural light throughout the day — from bright golden summer mornings to calm Nordic tones in winter. A king-size canopy bed, cosy fireplace and carefully curated interior details create an elegant boutique-style setting ideal for romantic stays, anniversaries or restorative wellness-inspired weekends.Step onto the riverside terrace with lounge seating, charcoal grill and firepit — perfect for slow mornings with coffee or relaxed evenings by the water. Guests can enjoy complimentary use of a boat and direct access to swimming in the river from both the jetty and a separate riverside staircase offering easier entry into the water. While the setting feels peaceful and secluded, the river remains a living natural environment, where occasional passing boats and nearby life add an authentic sense of place.Inside the villa, a traditional wood-burning sauna invites you into authentic Nordic sauna rituals. After the sauna, cool off with a refreshing river dip or unwind in the year-round outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the water.The fully equipped kitchen includes premium appliances and a Smeg espresso machine. Guests are welcomed with complimentary breakfast essentials such as free-range eggs, porridge oats, muesli, coffee, tea, milk, cream and bottled water.Complimentary bikes are available for exploring the surrounding nature, optional canoe trips can be arranged on request, and food delivery from local restaurants is available via Bolt Food and Wolt.Guest accessFree parking is located approximately 30 metres from the villa. Access is via a lighted staircase from the marked parking area. The riverside area between the stairs and the jetty is available for guests, including swimming access to the Pärnu River.In addition to the boat jetty, a separate staircase leads directly into the river, offering easier access for swimming. Water depth near the staircase is approximately 50–150 cm depending on river level, while the depth at the jetty is around 2 metres upon entry.Other things to noteIkigai Riverside Villa is an adults-only retreat designed for peaceful stays and romantic escapes. The hosts reside on the same private riverside estate, while the villa itself is thoughtfully positioned to ensure a secluded and tranquil guest experience. Guests can enjoy a sense of privacy, with support available whenever needed. Due to the natural riverside setting, deep water and open terraces, the villa is not suitable for children. To preserve the calm and intimate atmosphere, parties, events and pets are not permitted.
